How to play
Five tracks. One chance.
- Press play. A clip of track 1 starts and the clock starts with it.
- Pick the song from four choices: tap it once to choose, then tap again to lock it in. You get one try.
- Answer before the 25 seconds run out. Running out counts as a miss.
- Go on to the next track. There are five a day, from easy to hard.
Scoring
- A right answer scores 100 × the track's level (1 to 5), plus 10 points for every second left on the clock.
- A miss costs 50 points.
- Get all five and the bonus round unlocks: five deep cuts at double points. A miss there costs nothing, so it can only raise your score.
Controls
- Tap the screen, or use the click wheel: ⏮ ⏭ move, the center button picks, MENU goes back. Drag around the wheel to scroll.
- On a keyboard: 1 2 3 4 (or A–D) answer instantly. Arrows move, Enter picks, Esc goes back.
- The ? in the corner replays the tutorial any time.
Leaderboard and friends
Finish a day to post your score with three letters and your country, on today's top 10 and the all-time board. Send a challenge link and your friend sees how fast you were on every track.
New songs
A new set arrives every day at midnight New York time, the same five for everyone. Come back tomorrow to keep your streak. And you might find a secret or two.
